Delia will receive a free session of Reactive Rover with adoption!
**Delia is a Patient Paw, please ask about their reduced adoption fee and the possibility of a sleepover!**
Age: 2 years Weight: 23.5 kg / 51.8 lbs
A little bit about Delia: - children okay, older recommended due to lack of manners - cats / small animals unknown; introductions should be slow and supervised over multiple sessions - only dog in home, due to demonstrated dog reactivity
Wagging her way into your heart and hopefully home, say hello to Delia! She`s a friendly and outgoing dog who loves to meet everyone but still jumps up to say hello. That`s why the ideal family for her would be without little kids and have an abundance of patience to help teach her proper doggy manners. Delia is also a pretty energetic gal and would love going on lots of adventures, hikes, you name it! Just remember that mental enrichment is just as important as physical enrichment, so make sure to offer lots of interactive toys and puzzle feeders, too! This slightly mischievous, toy-loving girl, will be happy to help you sniff out any toys or treats you may have lost in your home. Delia is more of a people pooch and is looking for a home without dogs, but she has potential to co-exist with cats if there are slow, supervised introductions. That`s all for Delia, but if you want to learn more, then make an appointment or come say hello today!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
