Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oskar is a 14 pound, 7-year-old neutered male Bengal with all of his claws. Oskar is a tall and lanky boy with beautiful brown spots and blue eyes. He has been fully vetted and is ready to go to his forever home.
Oskar came to us from a shelter initially. He was adopted from us and was returned after not getting along with the resident cat. He is a semi-active, inquisitive, and verbal fellow. Being a Bengal, Oskar likes to investigate his surroundings by climbing up high to get a better view. Oskar is a friendly guy. He can be held for short periods of time. He loves to rub against your legs and get head, neck and back scratches. He likes to follow people around and have a good conversation.
Oskar isn’t shy. He is cautious at first, but once he knows his environment is safe, he is ready to explore. He has almost no teeth so will need a high-quality soft diet. He has good litter box skills but due to his height, he sometimes overshoots his litter box. For this reason, it is recommended that he has a tall-sided litter box.
Oskar is listed as having special needs because he is diagnosed with mild Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM). He has had a cardiology visit and report. He doesn’t need medication yet. He will need an annual visit to a veterinary cardiologist to monitor this condition. Oskar would do best in a cat-experienced household. Oskar should be an ONLY CAT. He is fine with dogs and older, respectful children.
ADOPTION FEE $200. FOSTERED IN MINNEAPOLIS, MN.
