My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nala is a sensitive, 3 year old, mini Aussie. She’s petite at only 28 lbs! Nala is looking for a multi-dog home. She adores kiddos and warms up pretty quickly to women. Men are scary for her, so an all female home (male kiddos are fine) would suit her beautifully. She will take a patient human that will love her while she settles in. Once she does, she loves to snuggle and you can bet she will join you up on your bed at night. Nala is great with dogs and derives her confidence from them. She also needs a fenced in yard and a doggie door.

Nala is being fostered in Brighton, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *

Mile High Canine Rescue, Inc. is a 501(c)3, Colorado non-profit organization established in 2019. We are 100% volunteer run and foster home based. MHCR aims to provide abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs a loving home to grow and learn in until a suitable forever home is found. While in foster care, our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested/treated, microchipped, and vaccinated. We rescue dogs from Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico.
