COURTESY POST
Sammy is a 4-year old Shar Pei who is looking for a forever home after his owner died.
Sammy loves to share a fluffy blanket and cuddle on the couch or in your bed. He enjoys playing with toys, performing tricks for treats and roaming in the yard. He is content to watch out the window for birds, squirrels and Amazon delivery people. He is very well mannered and loves meeting new people. He is friendly with new dogs that he meets at the park or around the neighborhood. He has been an “only dog” for his whole life and we are unsure how he would react to having a cat, dog or child as a roommate.
Sammy weighs 66 pounds.
He is up to date on his vaccines. We have all of his medical records.
Occasionally suffers from Pyoderma – a common allergic dermatitis common to Shar-Pei and other breeds with loose skin and skin folds. Antibiotic therapy clears his skin quickly.
He is nervous around the vet and requires some anti-anxiety medication for the visit.
$200 re-homing fee applies. If you would like to bring Sammy into your family, please complete the adoption application which will be reviewed by his current family for a private adoption.
