Get ready to fall in love, meet Pepe!
Pepe is a darling 3-month-old boy who is the cutest little ball of fluffy and energy. He is the definition of sweet and sassy. He is named after Pepe Le Pew due to his charming personality and because he can be a little troublemaker sometimes. Pepe is a little shy, so he is looking for a family who will be patient with him and help him gain more confidence. Pepe currently weighs around 6lbs and will likely be around 20-30lbs when fully grown.
Pepe came to us after being found as a stray with his brother, Yogi, and brought to a local animal shelter. The boys were both super scared, so we wasted no time to scoop them up and make sure they were safe in foster homes. Yogi and his brother have been doing great in separate foster homes and would do best being adopted by separate families to ensure they get one-on-one socialization and training.
Pepe is the shyer of the two boys and has a little spicy side to him when he is uncomfortable, but he has discovered that humans mean lots of tasty treats. He has turned into quite the little cuddle bug and enjoys snuggling with his foster parents after a day full of fun. His favorite pastimes include playing fetch and wrestling with his foster sisters. He is an always-on-the-go little guy and needs an active family who can keep up with his puppy enthusiasm.
Pepe is still very much a puppy and needs a family dedicated to continuing his training. He would love to go to group puppy classes to make new friends and to help build a bond with his new family.
Pepe loves the other dogs in his foster home and we think he would do best in a home that has another playful, confident dog to help show him the ropes. We haven't seen him around cats, but he may do well living with cats with a slow introduction and proper supervision. Due to his shy personality, Pepe would do best in an adult-only home.
Pepe has been doing well with his housetraining, but he still is learning and needs a family who can continue with his training and expect accidents. He has been doing well being crated overnight and when home alone. Pepe has done okay living in an apartment and could do well in a home with a yard, or an apartment with proper exercise.
Pepe is such a handsome and sweet boy who is going to make the best newest addition to the perfect family. If you think that might be you, submit an adoption application today!
Pepe's adoption fee is $450.
