My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Beans!   Or “Beanie Weenie”, “Baby Beans”, “Beanster”. No matter what you call this little guy he is adorable!

Beans is a 11 week old male mixed breed weighing approximately 9 pounds. This little guy came from Georgia and was the lone survivor of his siblings. The high kill shelter he came from had to close down for a few weeks where no rescues or volunteers were allowed in. Beans and his 4 siblings were in there when it closed down. When they reopened, only little Beans was left of his siblings as the rest had passed away. Our rescue partners obviously couldn’t leave this little guy behind and took him in so he would be safe and cared for. Now he is a happy, healthy puppy ready to find his family!

Beans is dog, cat, and kid friendly! He is being fostered with 6 other dogs of all ages/sizes/genders. He loves to play and can hold his own despite being a little guy. As great as Beans is with his friends, he loves his people the most! This little guy will follow you everywhere and loves to cuddle and sleep on your lap. He has met a cat and hangs out with baby goats at his foster home so could easily learn to live with any feline friends.

Beans is working on his house and crate training and doing great! He definitely understands the concept of going outside but being so young still needs a consistent schedule and patience because accidents happen! Beans is up to date on vaccines and preventatives. He is waiting in York, PA for his forever family to meet him and of course fall in love!

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs.  Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption.         https://www.facebook.com/PaCaringForK9s/
