Barbie is Looking For:
Meet Barbie, a sweet and resilient 8-month-old pup who was saved as part of recent hurricane relief efforts. With her soft tan and white coat and warm, soulful eyes, Barbie is as beautiful inside as she is outside. Weighing in at 45 lbs, she’s the perfect size for snuggles on the couch or outdoor adventures. Despite everything she’s been through, Barbie is incredibly affectionate and ready to give her new family endless love.
Barbie is quickly learning that life can be full of fun and safety, and she’s blossoming into a playful and curious young dog. She would thrive in a home that can offer her a little extra patience as she continues to adjust to her new world. Whether it's enjoying a walk around the neighborhood or relaxing by your side, Barbie is eager to be part of a family that will cherish her. Could you be the one to give Barbie the forever home she deserves?
What My Foster Says About Me: Barbie is doing well in foster. She is still learning to be used to the crate during the day, but she is good in the crate at night. She hadn't have an accident and will let you know when she needs to go potty. She is still learning how to walk on the leash, but she is slowly getting better. She loves other dogs and greets them well on the trail. When i am working, she will lay down beside you, and will occasionally come to you for pets. She loves to sit in your lap, even though she is bigger than most lap dogs. She has learned to sit very well, and will wait for me to release her for her to eat her meal. She loves to follow you around and want to keep you in her sight at all times. When I brought her to the office, she went up to everyone and sat in front of them politely for pets. She also knows not to chew on anything other than the toys that I gave her.
