Nala is a sweet 2 year old, 46 pound, shepherd/boxer mix who loves to give hugs. She’s a wonderful girl who is eager to be by your side for all your adventures. She is your perfect companion for long walks, runs and hikes. She is also good with dogs, people and even farm animals. Sadly, Nala was abandoned by a rescue group and is now in a board and train program to get her ready for success. All she wants is to find her forever person. All potential families must complete a short and easy application, talk to one of our friendly adoption volunteers and undergo a convenient home check.

Before a dog goes home, all families must complete and sign an adoption contract and we do ask for a suggested donation on all adoptions.

More about this rescue

Take Me Home (TMH) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been saving the lives of homeless animals for more than twelve years. We work in conjunction with shelters and rescues throughout California and beyond to help save dogs on death row, on the streets or in unsafe living conditions. Our team is driven by love, compassion and doing right by innocent animals who have no voice.

We are very skilled in running mobile dog adoptions and working with families in all aspects of finding their new family member. We also have an on-site trainer at most of our adoption events and available as a resource after our dogs are placed in loving homes.

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on all shots and are micro-chipped. If we pull a dog from a shelter, we will quarantine him/her to ensure they are healthy before they go home. We also have an amazing foster program available for our special needs and older dogs.
