Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We love us some Taffy! She is an ultra sweet, happy, playful puppy.
Taffy is already making friends in her foster home. She gets lots of loving from her foster mom.
Taffy is good friends with a couple of other puppies, so its always a fun time. She will still need time to learn the rules in her new home. Learning crate training and potty training, which she has already started in her foster home.
If you want to meet Taffy and find out more about her and see if she is the pup for you, just fill out the adoption application. Our foster team will be in contact with you to arrange a meet and greet.

We do our best to match up potential adopters with just the right pet as we want to ensure a lifelong placement for the rescued animal. Our adoption process includes an initial application, with home visit, reference and vet checks. If the match is a good one, we then have an adoption contract that is executed. We have a commitment not only to our adopted dogs, but also to the families that adopt them, and we are always available to help with the transition to a new home. We check in during the first few weeks to answer any questions or help with any issues - or to just give you someone to brag to about your new baby. We can't hear that too much!

More about this rescue
Shelter2Rescue Coalition is an all-volunteer rescue organization dedicated to the safe-rehoming of shelter animals. We started as a rescue facilitation organization, helping rural shelters publicize their at-risk dogs, thereby dramatically reducing the need to euthanize for space. Then, as we worked with more shelters, it became very apparent that if we could just buy the dogs up for euthanasia just a little more time, you could save even more lives. The 72-hour hold limit at most shelters just wasn't enough for most dogs to get out. Therefore, we expanded and built partnerships with boarding facilities, transport organizations and other nationwide rescues in order to be able to provide a temporary safe haven for dogs out of time. We have now expanded Shelter2Rescue Coalition to include our own adoption program. Since June 2007, through facilitation and adoption, Shelter2Rescue Coalition volunteers have saved over 2000 dogs and cats.
