Baxter is a male Boxer mix puppy with an adorable underbite. He has lots of puppy energy and loves to play with toys and fetch! Baxter is very treat motivated and smart, which will help with his training; He already knows Sit, Paw, and Down. He loves to cuddle after he winds down from playing, he's a very affectionate dog that would make a perfect family dog. Baxter is very dog-friendly and paid little to no attention to a kitten when introduced. For a young dog, he has pretty good manners, and Baxter was great with kids/toddlers at our most recent adoption event. Baxter has already completed his vet care and cant wait to meet his forever family! Hes about 10 months old and weighs around 45-50lb. His adoption fee is $300. SBF adoptions start off with a 2-week trial period to ensure that the SBF dog is a good fit for your family and current pets. The adoption fee is due the day an adopter starts the 2-week trial period. If the adoption does not work out within those two weeks, the adopter will be refunded all but a $50 donation, or they can put the fee towards another adoptable dog.

Saved by Fate is a dog rescue organization in Central Kentucky that specializes in pulling dogs at high risk of euthanasia from Kentucky shelters. SBF was founded by Mara DeLaus and Ciara Hagedorn in 2022. After years of volunteering for a fellow organization, they saw a significant need for additional rescue resources in their area. SBF is an entirely foster and volunteer based organization that does not have a physical location or kennel at this time.
