Sweet Pea was found on the streets of Houston with her four siblings. Despite her rough start, Sweet Pea is a bundle of energy and joy, ready to find her forever home.
Sweet Pea is great with children of all ages, adults, seniors, big dogs, and small dogs. She's a friendly pup who loves everyone she meets. She has lots of energy and loves to run, play fetch, and splash around in water.
Sweet Pea is leash trained, crate trained, and enjoys playing with toys. She is a playful and goofy girl who brings a lot of joy to any household. Due to her high energy, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal for her to run and play safely.
Her current routine includes waking up at 7:30 AM, going outside, then coming back in to eat and play. She’s kenneled during the hottest part of the day, eats again at 4 PM, and goes out to potty afterwards. Sweet Pea is doing well with potty training and walks nicely on a leash.
Although Sweet Pea didn’t get along with the cat in her previous foster home, she does great with other dogs and children. She would thrive in a home where she has a friend to run and play with.
When she first came to us, Sweet Pea was starving and had a very bad skin condition, but she has come a long way since then and is now a happy, healthy pup. She can be quite vocal, especially when she wants out of her kennel, but it’s all part of her playful charm.
If you’re looking for an energetic and friendly companion, Sweet Pea is the perfect match. She would love to join a family that can keep up with her playful nature and provide her with lots of love and attention.
Sweet Pea is from Texas.
