Tayo is slowly learning the ropes of being a dog. He’s curious about people and, with a bit of time and patience, will warm up quickly to anyone who can show him that humans are cool. Tayo comes from a semi-hoarding situation where he was one of many dogs, so he’s still figuring out the world around him, but finds comfort and companionship with
Tayo would do best with a confident dog friend to help him learn the ropes and show him how to dog properly. He’s not a huge fan of dinner time because it means being picked up, but he loves heading outside with his dog buddies to potty. His big eyes have a way of looking right into your soul, and you can tell there’s a lot going on behind them.
Tayo isn’t used to walking on a leash yet, so he’d do best in a home with a secure fenced yard where he can safely explore. With a patient human and another dog to guide him, Tayo is sure to blossom into a wonderful companion.
Due to his skittish nature, young high-energy children may not be a good fit for him currently.
Tayo is from Texas.
If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
