My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Friendly, adorable, toy-obsessed Sprout is a bit wild and goofy. Sprout, Peanut, and Bug were all rescued together, but Sprout is younger than her “siblings”, so we don’t actually know what if any relation the three have. Sprout doesn’t have any trouble keeping up with her older sisters, though. If anything, it’s the other way around. Sprout can be a little clumsy in her play, but we can only hope she grows out of doing things like trying to jump off a shelf with a toy that is attached to the shelf. Sprout was born May of 2024. If she is not spayed by the time she is adopted, she will be on a spay/neuter contract. She is microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Additional adoption info

All interested parties must fill out an adoption application and be approved prior to adoption. If a family has currently, or in the recent past had pets then a veterinary reference is required. If not then two personal references are required. Our adoption fees for dogs range from $150-$300. Our adoption fee for cats is free will donation. After an adoption has been approved an adoption contract must be signed.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
