My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

TUCK is a short haired male brown tabby, with long whiskers and a splash of rust coloring on his nose. He is very friendly and loves to cuddle.  He has a strong purr and warms up to people very easily.  He loves to play with anything that moves, and is currently enjoying ice cubes on the floor.  He has a weakness for chicken treats, but can be won over with cuddles.  He came to the rescue with his mother OLIVIA, and brothers LENNY and MING MING.  He is very tender with them and will groom and cuddle with them frequently – including Mama Olivia.  He would love to be adopted with one of them, if possible!

Tuck has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners.  To meet TUCK at the Cat Lounge, please fill out an Adoption Application for consideration at catrescues.org/adopt, and an adoption counselor will contact you for a possible meet-and-greet at the Eugene Springfield Cat Lounge, 537 W. Centennial Blvd., Springfield.  The $175 ($320 for a pair) adoption fee allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1.  ID 2406-C0215

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters are required to complete our application and contract. Our contract stipulates the requirements for care of our pets. These documents are available through e-mail or at our adoption events. The documents are reviewed by our staff and together with a face to face interview we explore the potential new home. If all parties agree to the specifics of the contract the dog or cat can go home. Adoption fee varies with age of pet.
All pets are current on vaccinations, health checked by our veterinarian, De-wormed, treated with flea medication, spayed or neutered, and cats are felv/fiv tested.

More about this rescue

Our mission is to provide care and find loving homes for cats and kittens of our community, with a focus on those with special needs. Currently we only work with Cats. We offer temporary housing in foster homes until they can be placed through our adoption process. We have adoption centers within both Petsmarts in Eugene, at Chad Drive, near Costco, and 29th and Willamette; PetCo by Valley River Center and Wags Dog Emporium on Coburg Rd. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network works with humane societies, other animal rescue groups, the public and government animal services agencies to offer them relief from their overpopulation problem. All cats in our custody receive the medical care they need. Cat Rescue & Adoption Network is a non-profit organization. All money raised is used to help Cat Rescue & Adoption Network save as many animal lives as possible.
