Meet our handsome, 2 year old Pit Bull mix, Reggie! When Reggie first came to us, he was in a sorry state - dirty, missing hair, and covered in fleas. But with lots of love and care from our staff, he's starting to feel better and his easygoing and gentle personality is shining through. He may have had a rough start, but he's determined to leave that behind and be the best boy he can be.
Reggie gets along well with other dogs and would thrive in a patient and loving home where he can continue to blossom. He may be a bit shy at first, but once he gets comfortable, he'll charm you with his affectionate and curious nature. He's a happy-go-lucky dog who is just looking for a quiet and loving family to call his own.
Reggie is neutered, we have microchipped and updated all vaccines including rabies. He has been given a dewormer and started on flea/tick prevention, heartworm tested (NEGATIVE) and given heartworm prevention.

The greater our reach the more homes we will find for the animals in our care.
Although we are about 1.5 hours away from the Washington, D.C. metro area, it is an easy drive. You can even make a day of it and stop off at country stores, Civil War battlefield sites and a huge mall complex in Spotsylvania/Fredericksburg.
