My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Mickey! I’m a very cuddly guy, but only with my people. I prefer to be the only cat in the home and haven’t really met a dog yet. I take some time to warm up, but if you offer me meaty bites or a Churu, I’ll purr and snuggle right up to you.

When we first meet, I like to hang out in high places and watch the world through windows—so a cat perch or a shelf by the window is a must! I could see myself settling down with an older cat someday, but for now, I’m happiest on my own.

We provide safe, loving foster homes for cats of all ages until they are adopted. They receive socialization, a nutritious diet, any necessary vet care (including spay/neuter surgery) and lots of TLC while in our care. We do our best to find the right home for each cat considering their unique personalities and ongoing needs. We also offer resources, advice and support to cat caretakers in our area.
