This gorgeous young lady is Sunshine, she is roughly around 1-1.5 yrs young. She was found as a stray and had just had 10 puppies. She and her puppies were all rescued and taken into foster care from this point. She was an excellent mom and took very good care of her babies. But they have found homes and now she is dreaming of her own forever life with people to love and take care of her. She has such a wonderful warm personality and was friendly with everyone form day one of being rescued. She loves people and does well with other dog friends (with a proper intro of course). We do not know if she has ever had a real home but we want her to experience how wonderful it truly can be. Her only thing to be worked on is her crate manners, she truly does not like to be crated and had in the past gotten out of them (especially after her babies had left). So perhaps a home with people around more often or even another friendly dog in the home to help her figure things out would be ideal for this sweet girl, just until she realizes she is safe and she is truly "home". Will anyone give this oh so sweet girl a chance at happiness and the joy of a forever home ? An online application for this sweetie can be found at SandiPaws.org Thank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

A successful adoption depends on the selection of the right pet for your household and your understanding of your responsibility of adopting a rescued animal. Our adoption procedures have been designed to make sure all rescued Sandi Paws pets are placed in an appropriate, loving forever home, and to make sure all adopters find the right fit for their family. Prior to adoption, all dogs and cats will be given all age-appropriate vaccinations, including rabies, kennel cough, parvo and distemper, spaying/neutering, intestinal deworming, heartworm testing/treatment, microchipping, and monthly heartworm medication and flea prevention.
Note: We will adopt pets outside of Wisconsin if we can do necessary background and reference checks and the adopters agree to provide necessary follow up information. Also, the adopting family must agree to travel to pick up the pet and agree to transport them back to Wisconsin if they need to be returned at any time.
