Bowser is a snuggle bug that bonds quickly with his humans – if you are looking for a cuddle buddy, he is your guy! His ideal day would be spent cuddling all day with his people on the couch. He is playful and enjoys going for walks but, for his age, he is a low energy dog content to hang around the house with you most of the day. Bowser loves people of all ages. However, he can be a bit of a bulldozer with his love, so older/bigger children may be best. He is a smart boy, knows “sit” and “come” and we expect with a little training he this boy will go far. He is potty trained, good walking on a leash and is working on kennel training.
He is being fostered with two big female dogs. He was intimidated by them at first, but after a few days warmed up and joined in their play & lounging with them on the couch. At times he can be a bit possessive of his human friends and will start trouble if not directed. His play style also involves a lot of growling & jumping on other dogs, so he would be best with easy-going dogs. He may do okay with cats with careful introduction, however the two cats in his foster home have not given him much of a chance.
