Athena is just one of the sweetest dogs we’ve ever had in the rescue. She is such a love bug and she only wants to be with you. She will follow you all around the house until she’s snuggles up on your lap and gives you the best puppy kisses you have ever had. She also loves to play and her favorite game is fetch and her favorite toy is a little stuffy that looks like a duck that she will take with her everywhere. She loves to have her belly rub she will flip Upside down to get those little belly rubs all the time. She also loves to be petted right under her chin and between her ears. She is potty trained, and she loves to go for a walk on the leash. She is just all around one of the best puppies we’ve ever had. DOB 4/10/2022

Many factors determine which applicant will be matched with a particular pet. If you are not able to adopt a pet today, it does not mean that you are not considered a good pet owner or that your home is not acceptable. Our goal is to place all animals into homes that will best suit their individual needs and personality. We will get back with you as soon as possible. Most of our staff are volunteers
