Momma Oreo is a two-year-old, seven-pound, green-eyed, black and white female tuxedo cat looking for a loving guardian with her daughter Snickers an eight-month-old, six-pound calico kitty.
Oreo and Snickers lost their home when their human moved to a home where his felines weren’t welcome.
They are sweet, gentle, playful and loving. The girls are a little shy with new humans. They’d probably be best in a quiet home with a feline-loving family with older children willing to give them the opportunity to blossom with patience and love.
Momma Oreo had her tail amputated last week due to a horrific infection. Snickers came into rescue with pyometra, a uterine infection cured by spay surgery and antibiotics. They are both very healthy now, de-wormed, spayed, treated with Revolution, vaccinated for distemper and rabies, virus-tested negative, and microchipped.
To meet and possibly adopt these adorable felines, please fill out an adoption application https://friendsofpetraits.com/cat-adoption-application/
After the application is complete, please contact friendsofpetraits@gmail.com to schedule an appointment to meet them.
Their adoption fee of $300 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue. They are currently being fostered in Chicago.
