Dog's Name: Baby Emory (EMO1024CHEFD)
Estimated Breed: Black Mouth Cur mix
Approximate Age: 12 weeks
Approximate Weight: 8-9 LBS
Currently Living at: Foster
Adoption Fee: $500
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Baby Emory! Emory and her brother, Baby Elliott, came from a rural shelter in Chesterfield, South Carolina. The shelter is a scary place for a little puppy, but fortunately they were rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and have landed a nice foster home while they search for their forever family. Could that be you? Emory is your typical sweet and friendly puppy. She loves to play and adores other dogs. Emory will make an amazing dog and would thrive in an active home. At her young age, Emory is in her prime for training and socialization too. So, what's not to love? Fill out an application today and give this cutie a chance to have the forever home of her dreams!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.
