Hi, I'm Olaf, and I like warm hugs! Well, my name is actually Rooney, but I still like warm hugs! How can a dog give hugs, you might ask? Well, I jump up to put my paws on my humans legs and then affectionately lick their faces. It's important to me to make sure everyone knows that I love them because I know what it's like not to be loved. You see, just a few short months ago I was on the streets without anyone to love me. Luckily, I ended up in a shelter with people who cared about me. It was such a relief to have people pay attention to me and not have to worry about where my next meal was coming from. Then, in a second stroke of good luck, some very kind people from a rescue group pulled me out of the shelter. I got to live in a home with a nice comfy bed and lots of toys! I was given lots of snuggles and kisses, and it made me feel so content. I hope to continue that feeling by giving hugs and kisses to everyone I meet! Now that you know that I love giving hugs, here are some other things you should know about me: I am good with other dogs, love going on walks, and spending time with my humans is my top priority. I'm approximately 9 months old and currently about 35 pounds. Like most pups my age, I would benefit from going to school and learning basic obedience. I am food-motivated and ready to learn! Hope to give you hugs soon! Puppy Kisses, Rooney
