Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Scarlett is living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin.
Scarlett is 5.5 years old and weighs 27.5 pounds. Scarlett came to rescue with four other French bulldogs from a breeder. She is a chill lady who loves to relax in the sunshine, loves food, and is comfortable around dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. She does well in her crate for meal times, overnight, and when she is unsupervised. Scarlett is nearly house trained, greatly improved from when she first came into rescue. She will need patience and support, but is very willing to learn anything from a loving family. The loudest sounds she makes is peacefully snoring. She is very sweet and great with the children in her foster home. Scarlett is looking for an adopter who has experience with French bulldogs as they are a unique breed with unique health needs.
If you are looking for a lovable, laidback pup who likes time outside and time on the couch, she might be the girl for you!

Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
