My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there! My name is Happy and I’m the bestest girl you’d ever want to meet! First things first. I’m cute as heck! No really! You’d be hard pressed to find another pup that even comes close to my adorableness. My soft, ebony coat shows off my white-tipped toes and the subtle grey highlights around my eyes, muzzle and chin. Didn’t I tell ya? Adorable! I’m ready for the runway!

Even though I’m an older gal I still have some spunk in me. Peeps say I’m a happy, little ball of energy. (Get it? Happy? Ha! I crack myself up.) Suffice it to say I’m just a very sweet lady who loves peeps. I’ll give you an enthusiastic greeting whenever you come through the door, even if you’re just coming from another room. I’ll even bring you a present (my favorite squeaky toy) and stroll around the house with it just to be sure you see it.

All my energy aside, though, I’m down for naps and just chillin.’ I enjoy a good belly or butt rub (I mean, who doesn’t?) and can be a couch potato with the best of them. In fact, just turn on a night light and some soft music and I’ll snooze on the couch all night long. I don’t need a big yard or a lot of playtime, so if you have a small house or apartment, I’d be just fine with that. I’m also good if you have to leave me for a bit. I don’t get into any trouble at all. I’ll just nap and wait for you to come back. Who’s a good girl?

I absolutely love my walks and am really good on the leash. I keep a good pace and don’t even get excited when I see other doggos or little peeps on my walks. How awesome is that? I also know what “sit” and “come” means and I’m learning how to use the doggy door. I’m wicked smart and I absolutely love, love, love treats so if you want me to learn something new, there’s your hint. I also love going on car rides! I don’t get nervous or whine at all, you can count on that! Overall, I’m most assuredly the most perfect girl! I’m just waiting for my forever home where I can go on some nice walks, get some treats and belly rubs, give you lots of love, and be my natural happy self! Is that you? I hope so!
