Meet Saige! This adorable 8 month old is a mixed breed and is ready to find her new home! Saige is a bundle of energy and love. She’s playful, affectionate, and always up for a new adventure. Whether it’s a long walk in the park or a cozy night in, Saige will be your loyal companion. She is great with kids and she`s house trained.

Meet the Pet

Visit the shelter during regular business hours. If the pet is listed as "in foster", please contact the foster at the email provided.

2.

Submit Application

If you would like to adopt after meeting the animal, the foster or staff member will give you a link to an online application.

3.

Approve Application

One of our adoptions counselors will contact you to go over the pet’s medical history, personality information, and answer any questions.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

Finalize adoption paperwork & pay adoption fee.

5.

Take the Pet Home

Schedule a time to pick up the pet at the shelter.

Founded in 1944, the Animal Welfare League of Arlington provides animal adoption and community programs to the Northern Virginia and D.C. metropolitan area, as well as animal rescue and control services within Arlington County.
