Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Jasmine is a beautiful, solid gray, spayed female who we took in a while ago because she was having to live outside and only allowed inside to nurse her babies who were living in filthy conditions (so bad a few lost one of their eyes :(
We took her and her babies in, had them spayed/neutered, tested (negative for both feline leukemia and FIV, vaccinated etc. and she and all her babies were adopted but the grandmother living with the family did not like Jasmine for some reason so we had to take her back.
She is a very affectionate, sweet girl but does prefer to be an only child.
If you are interested in Jasmine or any of our other castaway cats, please fill out our application at castawaycatsde.com

If you are interested in meeting one of our cats, you can fill out our online adoption application at www.castawaycatsde.com. Once we receive your application we will contact you with any questions we may have, and then will set up a day and time for you to meet the cat/cats. Once a match is found for your family, there is an $85 adoption fee. This fee covers spaying/neutering of your cat, worming, all shots including rabies, ear mite and flea treatment, and Feline Leukemia and AIDS testing. All adoptions are done on a trial basis so we can be sure everyone is happy. Our goal is to find the best possible cat for you and to ensure our cats have happy forever homes.

More about this rescue
Castaway Cats is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit cat rescue based in Bear, DE, comprised entirely of volunteers. We do not have a shelter and all of our cats are in foster homes. This rescue was started in 1992 in an effort to help the homeless and feral cats in our area. Each cat we rescue is spayed/neutered, tested for Feline Leukemia and AIDS, vaccinated with FVCRP and rabies shots, de-wormed and de-fleaed. Because all our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, we do not adopt out kittens under the age of 12 weeks.
