Aww Albert, what a sweet guy he is! He's so happy to be safe and cared for these days. Albert had a rough start in life. He was rescued from a hoarding situation along with many other cats. Albert put on some weight and got himself all cleaned up and now, he's ready for a fresh start! Albert is very mellow and mild-mannered, and he's happy to make new friends. He doesn't get riled up very easily and just goes with the flow. He's so content to get your attention and to have you pet him and he just purrs away, making little biscuits on his blankets. Albert lived with many other cats and he gets along just fine with them. He's a super sweet, lovable little guy that would be overjoyed to be welcomed into your family! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org for an application. File#73982 7/9/24

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
Please visit our website AHSCares.org for additional information.
