My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Juniper, a 1 ½-year-old male who came to us as a stray, unsure of the world and the people around him. At first, he needed some time to decompress and build his trust, but once he realized he was in good hands, his loving nature began to shine through. Now, Juniper is showing us just how much love he has to give??.
??He enjoys playing with toys and has become quite the conversationalist, always eager to share what’s on his mind. Juniper does well with our office cat and is a pro at walking on a leash. ??While he may still be working through some of his initial shyness, he`s proven that with patience and attention, he`s an affectionate, loyal companion??. If you’re looking for a loving friend who just wants to be part of your world, Juniper could be the perfect match for you! His adoption fee is $52.00 that includes, microchip vaccine, 2024 Holmes county license, leash and collar!

More about this shelter

We are a county operated facility and agency. We receive our funding through dog license sales. We are responsible for picking up strays in our county. Many of these strays later go up for adoption and become our responsibility to rehome. We also take owner surrrenders and attempt to rehome them.
