Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If cuteness was a super power, Beans would be an Avenger. Yes, he's that cute. He's traffic stopping cute. He's sneak-a-peak-over-your-shoulder-for-another-look cute. He's quite definitely adopt-me-now cute.
After all it's hard not to be adorable when you're as tiny as this Yorkie/Chihuahua mix. But Beans is more than just cute. He's also very affectionate. He's great with all the dogs in his foster home. Beans is also fine with cats and loves gentle humans both large and small. He clearly enjoys being picked up and will sleep in your lap for hours. Beans luxuriates in full body petting, which he pays back with kisses. Even being dressed in clothes or costumes is OK with Beans.
Yes, this is a small pup with a big personality. There are pros and cons to that. The negative is that, like many small dogs, Beans is vocal, especially when left alone. He's happier and quieter when people and other dogs are with him. Beans loves zooming around to play with kids, balls, toys and his dad, Boba. In fact, he and Boba are a bonded pair and should be adopted together.
Like any normal dog, Beans still has a few issues. He's being treated for Heartworms and also needs to be neutered. Both of these issues will be dealt with by December 21. As of 12/22 Beans is free to go home with you!
You should know that, while Beans is sweet and listens and responds well to gentle correction, he still has some learning to do. He is not leash or harness trained. Also, he is not house trained. Finally, Beans marks territory indoors, a habit that usually ceases after a dog is neutered.
Of course no dog is perfect. But life with Beans can be loads of fun. He's great on car rides as long as Boba is with him. Their foster mom hasn't tried it yet but sees no reason why the pair can't be put in a vehicle and driven to places like The Pearl. Until they are leash trained, it might be a blast to roll them around in an old baby carriage or similar conveyance. After all, when you have a pup with Super Power Cuteness, why not share him with the world?
So fly to your phone or keyboard to adopt Beans and Boba today.
