Meet Serena, the kitten with a heart full of love and a spirit full of life. Serena was brought to rescue struggling to survive, she was the only one to make it from her litter.
Serena has flourished in her foster home! She is a bundle of joy, overflowing with energy and brimming with bravery.
Serena loves to play, her lively antics bound to bring laughter into your life. But don't be fooled by her vivacious nature, Serena also has a soft side. She craves attention, adores cuddles, and yearns for a feline companion to share her adventures.
Serena is sweet and strong, a testament to her unwavering spirit. This girl deserves a home that will shower her with love and attention.
Choosing Serena means opening your home to a world of love, playfulness, and companionship.
Adopt Serena, and let her show you the true meaning of friendship and unconditional love.
Serena is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
