Please note that because all our dogs live in foster homes, we are unable to set up meetings with a dog unless we have a completed adoption application on file. Adoptions must be within a reasonable distance from Mays Landing, NJ for our volunteers to be able to conduct an in-person home visit.

Meet Sean! Sean is a 7-year-old, 8 lb, Chihuahua who came from a hoarding situation. Small and shy, this special pup needed someone to show him how amazing life could be.

Sean has no health concerns and is simply awaiting a dental. He has good vision and hearing, can handle stairs, and is fully potty trained. He can also use pee pads if needed. Sean gets along well with dogs, cats, and children that can be patient with a shy dog. He walks well on a leash and would enjoy a fenced-in yard. Once Sean gets comfortable, his happy-go-lucky personality comes out in full force. His ideal home would have a doggy friend to keep him company or an owner who is home more often than not.

Sean loves loves loves to be with his people. He enjoys being picked up, lap time, and lots of treats. At bedtime Sean runs up the stairs, hops into bed, and snuggles close. He will happily add extra heat for those chilly nights. Sean likes to take time to explore, but he’s mostly a laid-back couch potato.
