This pet is available for adoption in a foster home. To adopt them, please email us at sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org and provide a good callback number.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Whitney usually has a toy in her mouth which she will proudly bring to you so you will play with her. And, check the wrinkles around her nose - they are really cute. Whitney is a sweet and happy dog who's ready to find her new family. She's house-trained and crate-trained, and she loves to roam and play outside, especially enjoying games of catch with her toys. With her positive spirit, Whitney is eager to find a loving home where she can continue to thrive. If you're ready to give Whitney the care and affection she deserves, please reach out to us by email sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org today!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
