My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet the KFC kittens! These little nuggets were in rough shape when they were brought into the county shelter. HSDC took them in and nursed them back to health. This sweet bunch are now healthy and ready to find their families.

John Fred is a playful little explorer with big, curious blue eyes. Always the first to investigate new toys, he loves pouncing on anything that moves and snuggling up for cozy naps afterward.

He is a Siamese with one white toe on his back paw.

If you are interested in adopting John Fred, please complete an adoption application at https://www.hsdavie.org/cats and we'll schedule a meet and greet with her foster.

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Davie County is a non-profit 501c3 group seeking to make a difference in the lives of animals in Davie County and surrounding areas. The Humane Society obtained tax-exempt status in late 1998 and since then has endeavored to improve conditions for animals at the local animal shelter, raise awareness in the community about the need of spay/neuter of animals, and place numerous previously unwanted animals into loving homes. The Humane Society’s long-term goal is to eliminate the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Davie County.
