My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Susan is a one year old terrier/dachshund mix. This little nugget weighs 12 pounds. Sadly, Susan was found as a stray and not reclaimed by her owner. Susan is a little shy, but warms up quickly to new people. She is house trained, good with other dogs (big and small) and good with cats.  When her foster parents are at home, Susan follows them around and always wants to be with them. Susan sleeps quietly at night in her crate. During the day when her foster parents are at work, she will bark some in her crate, but is mostly quiet. There are no children in her foster home, so we don't know how she is with children. Susan likes to go on walks, get petted and cuddle with her foster parents. Sweet Susan will be a loving and loyal companion!

If you are interested in adopting Susan, please submit an inquiry directly to Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet's age.

**Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt. **
