🌱 My Story:
Good day ladies and gentlemen! I'm Bitna, 4 year old Jindo mix with a chic black coat. I'm very gentle with both hoomans and furry friends. Whether I know them or not, it really doesn't matter! I reach out to them first to say hello. For hoomans, I like to rub myself on them and let everybody to pet me. It feels super duper awesome when I get petted! More than likely, I will show my belly to everyone and when you see me doing that, you know what to do. Simply rub my belly. I'm also generous enough to let everybody to hold under my belly and lift me up. Sometimes I see some aggressive furry friends. No worries. When I see them, I’ll walk away as I don't want to get involved in any fights. Safety and peace first always!

There are couple of things that can make me hyper. Walks, being outdoor, and new environmental settings. Although I like to stay as a good girl, these things could make me get hyper! When I walk, I tend to pull on the leash. I know it needs to be corrected and I'm currently getting trained so please ensure to keep my leash on all the time. Being outside also excites me. I've been living in the shelter for a long period of time and couldn’t go out often. If you let me go outside, you'll see me running around freely. But no worries! If you call my name, I'll come to you. New environmental setting is also another thing. Rather than being in a loud place, it'd be helpful for me to stay at a quiet place to calm myself down. So, please be patient and give me enough time to get adjusted and I will try my very best to calm down. If you think I’m ready, you may then take me outside for outdoor activities! 😊

You won’t find me guarding resources when it comes to hoomans or other furry friends. I also don’t create a fuss through excessive barking and I’ve got my crate training pretty well. I like to do my business outside as I want to keep my home nice and clean. A lot of hoomans often wonder how I’d react to cats. I’ve seen a cat before but I prefer to just stay and focus on my hoomans rather than cats (not to mention, they looked cute and furry like me!!!).

If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loving companion, I’m confident that I’m the right one for you! Please reach out to my team for details and let’s make some wonderful memories together! 💖

If the dog is in a foster home in North Carolina, the potential adopter will go to the foster home to do meet and greet.
Most of our dogs are in South Korea and they will fly to North Carolina if they finds a foster home or adopter, and the adopter will meet the dog at the airport.

More about this rescue

Chenny's Happy Tails Rescue Canada is a not-for-profit group(Corporate name: 12023318 CANADA FOUNDATION) registered in Canada, based in Toronto, Canada.

We are against the slaughter and consumption of dogs in Korea.
In Korea, there are many dogs that are kept in overcrowded cages in dog-meat facilities. They are sent to the market after being tortured to death. Although the consumption of dog meat is increasingly controversial and the vast majority of younger generations do not believe in dog meat, there are still many dogs that need to be rescued from farms and streets on which they have been abandoned/mistreated by humans.

We are committed to finding forever homes for dogs in Canada.
Chenny's Happy Tails Korea rescues and rehabilitates dogs to make them ready to be adopted.
Chenny's Happy Tails Canada works on finding the best adopter for each dog who can provide them a forever loving home and reliable care.
