My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Gertrude. Life here is comfortable, but I dream of a place I can call my own. I'm an independent lady who enjoys peaceful moments, but I also love a good ear scratch. I might seem a bit reserved at first, but that's just because I'm taking my time to get to know you. My calm and mellow nature makes me a perfect companion for quiet nights in. I promise to bring sweetness into your life. Adopting me means gaining a loyal friend who will cherish every moment spent with you.

Unfortunately Gertrude has been added to the urgent list due to her high anxiety/stress levels in the shelter. She has not been coping well with the mental stress and it is evident that she is in need of urgent placement. Please come by the shelter if you are willing to give this sweetie a chance and the extra TLC she needs to help her open up out of this environment.
