Pearlman is a senior who was surrendered to a kill shelter because his family could not afford to take care of him. He is declawed and has some kidney issues. At the time he was underweight, had a mouth infection, anemic and matted all over. It’s hard to believe people let their animals live like this. He is now feeling good and is the sweetest declawed cat you will meet. He loves lounging in cozy beds, laying in your lap, getting brushed or just following you from place to place. He is full of love and just wants a home where he will not be left again. He is good with other cats and older kids.

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
