Dog Name: Ida
Breed: Jack Russell/Terrier
Sex: Female
Age: 2
Weight: 13 pounds
Medical Needs: None
Housebroken: Yes
Crate trained: Yes. She might cry a little in the beginning, but she calms down shortly after going in.
Good in the car: Yes, she’s happy just curled up in a blanket on the seat
Good on a leash: Somewhat. Still working on that.
Energy level: Has bursts of energy but will calm down and snuggle on the couch with you
Need a fenced in yard: Preferably to get some of her energy out. She has been running around with her foster’s resident dog in the backyard and loves it.
Dog Friendly: Yes
If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive homes? No, not necessary
Cat Friendly? Unknown
Kid Friendly: Unknown
Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know about them?
Ida is extremely attached to the female of the house and will follow her around. However, she gets along with men and is not afraid of others. She was skittish when first entering her foster home, but it didn’t take long at all for her to warm up to her surroundings and feel comfortable. I do not doubt that that will be the case in her adopter’s home if they’re the right fit.
