Hey everyone, meet Max!
This rescued sweetie is ready and waiting to find his furever home. Don't miss out on this gem, Max is just a great, well rounded dog who has so much to offer his new people.
Max was rescued by a local off the streets of Guadalajara city. This local took him under her care at her home, but unfortunately discovered that a member of her household was mistreating Max, so she immediately connected with our rescue partner and transferred him to their care. Max was immediately brought up to date on his vaccinations and examined by a Vet. It was noted that he was walking with an ever so slight limp, so an Orthopedic Specialist was called in. It was determined he had chronic slight fissures in both of his front legs, perhaps from his physical mistreatment, or a rough jump during his days in the streets. Preventive anti-inflammatory treatment was prescribed, and now Max is able to return to normal activity.
Good with other dogs -- check! Good with kids - check! Good with cats - check! House trained - check!
Max has enough energy and stamina for all kinds of adventures! He's not just a floofy, chill on a pillow kinda guy. He does enjoy his cuddly down time tho. He'll also let you know when he thinks you need to be alerted to something. Proving himself to be quite a smarty pants too, he picks up all sorts of new things very quickly. For instance, he'd love to show you his leash skills; he's a good walker and great company on a stroll around the neighbourhood or nature walks.
Confident and a little silly, he's a charmer and loves to engage in play with other dogs and greet strangers with a friendly "hello"! This guy loves to think he's in charge, but in a way that will have you in giggles!
Max deserves a shot at a happier future than his challenging past. All he needs is someone with a heart big enough to love this guy!

- Fully vaccinated
- Neutered/Spayed
- Dewormed
- SNAP 4Dx negative (Heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma)
- Flea/tick/heartworm prevention
- No known medical issues or injuries aside from the slight fissures in his front legs that have been treated
PLEASE NOTE: Max is currently in Mexico. There will be a $235 fee for transportation to BC. This will be discussed upon approval.
