Leo is a 7-12 yo, 15 lb local dog who was abandoned. He may have some terrier in his mix, but whatever he is, he is 100% adorable with a sweet underbite. Initially he had trouble walking and jumping but seems to have made a huge recovery. He loves going for walks and marking every mailbox post. He is house trained, does not enjoy being crated, and enjoys time outside. He is friendly with men and women, and respectful of older dog who leave him alone. He does not like dogs in his face, and is scared of dogs that might jump on him. He does bark at new people. Cats are unknown. He would like a family/person who is home for most of the day. He loves being with his people and will snuggle up with you.
His foster says, `Leo is a fantastic companion who loves to snuggle in your lap or by your side. One short walk a day and he is very happy! He likes to play with toys but does not destroy them. He meets you at the door with a waggy tail and circles with happiness. He is very barky at new people so a quite home with few visitors and/or training would be great.`
He is available to meet by appointment in Hopkinton with an approved adopter.
