My full story is that my family just didn’t care for me. I was on a chain 24/7 and was constantly getting tangled. Animal control tried to intervene and allow my owners to fix the situation, but I was constantly being failed. I was removed from the home when Animal Control revisited and found a fence had fallen over blocking my living space. I didn’t have water, food, or the ability to access my shelter and was skin and bones. It was time for me to get out of that situation.
For the Love of Woofers saved me from my final plea (euthanasia) at the shelter on 8/9/24 and now I need to find my forever home. I was in the shelter from March through early August and started suffering from kennel stress. I ended up at a shelter when another dog and I were taken from our previous owners due to neglect. The other dog was adopted but my cute self has not received any interest. Can you believe that!?!
I love people and am the chillest dog ever! I am so calm and gentle. Really, all I want to do is sunbathe and cuddle! When I was in the shelter, I was so stressed out that I was not getting along with other dogs. Now that I am in a better place, we have discovered I do get along with other dogs. But I need slow and proper introductions, please. I am not good with cats.
I am two years old and 50 pounds. I am fully vaccinated, neutered, and have been treated for heartworms by my rescue. I have been through a lot in two years and am ready for a new smooth sailing home. I am in Dickson, TN but can be transported to other states for the right home. Please note, there is a fee for transport. If you think I am the right pup for your home, please fill out an application to see if we are a good match!
