Meet Magic! After coming down with kennel cough, Magic found himself on the E-list at MCACC. This two year old boy settled right in to his foster home after being saved and has been able to recover in a safe environment.
Magic is a cuddly and affectionate boy who enjoys a good belly rub. He loves treats and knows how to take them politely. Magic is good in his crate, but sometimes he still needs reminding that it is a safe place that he can relax and play with his chew toys. Magic is quite the adventurer, he is a good car passenger and loves to go on walks. He walks well on a leash with minimal pulling, that is until he is distracted by a good smell!
We believe Magic would do well in an active home with older children, and would get along great with another young, larger, playful doggie sibling. Magic does have typical husky energy which includes occasional jumping. He responds well to verbal corrections, and with training this behavior can be improved. He is an opportunist and has been known to take full advantage of any doors left open and try to escape. Magic isn’t currently living with any cats, but does ignore any cats he sees on his walks. If Magic sounds like a good addition to your family, fill out an application to meet him!

Additional adoption info
We ensure that our huskies only go to families on a property with a 6ft secure fence, and remain the guardian of the animal for life - if there is ever need for a family to rehome their husky again due to health or any other major concern, we are always willing to take the dog back and find them a new home.

We do not have a physical shelter location just yet, and operate solely out of foster homes. We are planning to begin participating in adoption events in the near future - these will be listed on our website once available!
