Marzipan is a lovable softie who enjoys being petted. You will enjoy stroking her cashmere fur, and she relishes attention from her human friends. She is sure to entertain you and is happy to have a chat; talk to her, and she will talk back. She's a great conversationalist! She makes a good therapist, too, if you are having a bad day!

Marzipan is a retired mama who is looking for a loving home she can call her own. She likes to get pets from her humans and play, and is also respectful of your space. She's a sweetie!

Step one:
Browse our available animals online. Our website has more details on every animal, including any known history with dogs, cats, and kids, as well as individual adoption fees. Visit https://www.austinpetsalive.org/adopt

Step two:
Using the provided contact form here or on the APA! website, you can send an inquiry on the animal(s) you are interested in.

Step three:
Our adoption team will connect you to the foster home or someone at the shelter location where the animal is currently living to learn more about the animal and potentially set up a visit!

Step four:
After meeting the animal you would like to adopt, instructions for completing the adoption paperwork, scheduling an appointment, and picking up your new family member will be shared with you!
