Robins story is a sad tail. She was gifted to her original owner who was an alcoholic of many years so this was the only way of living that Robin knew. Its unclear if physical or emotional abuse was placed on her as she does tremor around strangers but becomes VERY excited and sweet with anyone offering pets. She still thinks shes a small puppy so she can be rough when she gets excited to jump on others as she does not understand shes a bigger dog (60 lbs). Then a year ago her owner passed away suddenly and she was placed in the owners sons care, who up until 2 days ago was doing great taking care of her however did not have the financial means to care for her long term. He had Mental Health Break which has placed him in an inpatient treatment center. Other family members are elderly with multiple health concerns. With all she has been thru, the family wants her to go to a loving home filled with much attention she greatly deserves. FYI she knows how to open a refrigerator.
