My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Dogs are the ultimate example of living in the moment and loving without limits.” This reminds us of our dear Sadie.

Beautiful Sadie is 18 months old and weighs 53 pounds. She has a stunning brindle and black coat, and her warm brown eyes reflect her joy for life. If you are looking for a medium sized companion, she could be the one!

Sadie enjoys the company of people of all ages and is such a congenial, good-natured companion. She is so sweet!

She loves being close by your side on daily walks and is so well mannered. Sadie also has such fun running and playing in the fenced yard.

Sadie adores being petted and is a great snuggle buddy.

Sadie is a smart dog who should do well mastering any commands you wish to teach her.

More about this shelter

Cheatham County Animal Control is committed to finding good homes for the animals that come into the shelter system. We work with rescues and adopters. We are a no kill shelter but we rely on people coming in to adopt!

All of our cats/dogs receive vaccinations that are appropriate for the age and health when they are at animal control. We also spay and neuter all of our animals. The adopter is responsible for all vaccinations and medical care after adoption.
