My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Everyone meet Hero, an approximately 1 year old female Australian Shepherd. Hero is a true diamond in a rough! She is super sweet and LOVES her people and play mates. Hero came to us pretty beat up with two broken legs with one leg being badly broken needing extensive surgery. Her leg is all healed but she will need some understanding due to the severity of the break. We don’t know exactly what happened but we are thinking she was either hit by a car or fell out of a truck on the highway.

Despite her condition, she has been the sweetest thing and super gentle. Hero is all healed up now and four on the floor. She loves to run and play with her dog friends and to cuddle with her people. Hero is one of those dogs that is a true companion to her people or person, she is on you like glue. Hero would be best suited for someone that has had Australian Shepherds or working dogs, she is very high energy and has a busy mind. She can also be shy at times and is a very soft temperament, so patience is a must.

Hero Requirements: -Herding dog experience
-fenced yard
-patience
-no apartments
-no cats
-minimal kids around (she is great with some kids)
-Hero will be a priority. She will not be sidelined because of family matters. She needs to fully included as often as possible.

Hero is leash trained but could use some more refinement. She is also; house trained, crate trained, spayed and fully up-to-date on shots.

If Hero sounds perfect for your family, please fill out our application:
