Lockets always hold things inside that are special....and this Locket is absolutely no different as she is gorgeous and special inside and out and is just waiting patiently to be discovered! Locket is a gorgeous retriever mix gal who weighs about 45+ lbs full grown. She is SO fun and loves playing with other dogs and being in the mix of things. She has a great medium energy level and will want to be in on any fun and games you have going on in your world. She is a champ in her crate and has learned so much about life at the farm already but is ready to move into her furever. This girl would happily join a home with other dogs and would surely LOVE a playmate. She is up for walks, hikes, naps, and snuggles on the daily. Locket is the sweetest and prettiest piece of dog around. No jeweler has a gal this pretty in their midst but you can have her from here on out!
**Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "Locket is a high energy dog that needed to be leading the pack. She was very curious and follows her nose. She did not mind puddles and went straight into the water when she had the chance. She was curious with the other dogs and exchanged lots of sniffs. She is treat motivated and seems to know how to sit. She was very happy to get attention from other people and took treats and pets easily".

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccines, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! More about this rescue

Located in central North Carolina and officially established in 2004, Saving Grace has placed over 15,000 dogs into homes since its inception. These dogs were from rural animal control facilities with little resources and who would otherwise not had the opportunity to receive necessary veterinary care and a chance at adoption. While we have grown significantly over the years and have been successful growing our numbers we still see many great dogs miss the opportunity of adoption.

We have a large variety of dogs varying in breed, size, shape, age and needs and would love to work with you to find you a great dog companion while providing a dog in need with a loving home. Our dogs are chosen based on temperament and socialization. We get some of the most charming, unique mix breeds as well as some striking purebreds. Our dogs come from rural, underserved areas and while they may have little experience as an indoor family member, they have the temperament and personality that is sure to bring much love and appreciation to their new home. Most have started their crate training while in our program. Veterinary care including spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test, vaccinations, monthly preventatives are provided prior to each adoption.
