Hi, my name is Shenanigan! When we first meet, you might not see me right away. It's cause I'll be sneaking up behind you! I love hanging out and purring and being petted, but sometimes new people are a little scary. Just give me a minute to sit by your elbow and sniff you, and I'll warm up quick! My favorite things are wrestling with my sister Shindig, sitting on human's shoulders so I can be tall, and going nuts for the wand toy! I would love to be adopted with my sister and BFF Shindig, and there is an adoption fee discount for adopting both of us. The first step to meeting me is to submit your application, and one of the adoption counselors will contact you.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
Cats:
$150 for most kittens and cats

Dogs:
$250-$300 for most puppies and dogs

The adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.
