But not before you know what he went through to GET to this point! This is RESCUE FOLKS... It ain't PRETTY or NICE all the time...
Polar came to us after found on the side of the road, and guess what?? He couldn't walk- - he was in so much pain :(
SO what did we do?? WE SAVED HIM, we gave him TIME to gain weight and we gave him SURGERY so he could walk without pain! We gave him LOTS OF LOVE as he got stronger and he gave it back to us!
Polar is a big pyr, pretty classic appearance. And he really would do great home with one other dog would be ideal. He is just a big puppy, he loves his family so hard, with all the drool that goes with being a big PUPPY!
Don't get me wrong, he is not an active boy-UNLESS loving you is a SPORT, then he is an OLYMPIC medalist!!
Seriously, I cannot say more great things about Polar, but that HE IS AVAILABLE FOR HIS FAMILY!!

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..
If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
