My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Rainier

You can probably guess that when I was found and rescued it was raining, it was! However, I was named after the gorgeousness that is Mount Rainier :) I have the highlights and lowlights of the mountain on a sun-cloudy day :)
I have a driven personality, not unlike my breed. I am a very medium sized dutchy shepherd, and you must know and love the breed. I make super arm candy, if you will exercise me (and my brain) we will be besties for life!

Currently I am living my best life running around green fields of grass with my big radar ears charged and ready to go! You best believe I can hear everything! Better open that bag of treats as quietly as possible or I'll come running in! And I can actually hear you open your laptop to apply to adopt me! HURRY!!

Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Additional adoption info

Adoption application required.

Adoptions applications are checked by contacting references and veterinarians of those with pets to ensure our pups go to the best homes possible. We work hard to place dogs into the right families, but sometimes we realize the fit isn't quite working out for the adopter or the pet..

If an adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal locally, and help the adopter screen applicants and facilitate finding another adoptive home for the pet in your area.

Go meet their pets

We are a TEXAS based rescue who transport regularly to this area. Our dogs are in TEXAS and will be transported to you if you adopt from us.

Our pets are posted on our website, and most live in homes with their fosters. We live with our foster dogs to get to know them in a home setting and to let them know that life can be good away from the streets.

We work to correct poor behaviors, teach manners and observe each dogs particular quirks and personalities so we can give accurate observations of the dogs you are interested in.

We know that dogs will sometimes behave differently with different people but we can give you our impressions of our pups and situations they have been in.
